With great power (or free beer) comes great responsibility

It’s amazing the way people get when beer is either cheap or free, kind of like the guy who thought he died and went to heaven because he happened upon a beer truck. Having bartended several events and serving good craft beer that’s free to guests, people are back up for seconds much sooner than they would be if they were paying for each beer. They’re also back up for thirds, fourths, fifths, etc…

If you find yourself lucky enough to be at a place where the beer is free, try to maintain self control and drink responsibly, even if you have a designated driver. You’ll feel better the next day and you’re less likely to have done something you’ll regret with a friend or co-worker.

This is also another reason you should always carry a growler. You never know when you might find yourself in “beer heaven”.

Good advice all around. Don’t be “that guy”. Also, having the growler is a fantastic idea. FREE BEER!!!!
